The selection process for the Indian Navy Agniveer (SSR) 02/2023 (Nov 23) batch consists of two stages. Stage 1: INET - Computer Based Online Examination Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET), which is a computer-based online examination. Shortlisting will be done on a state-wise basis, and the cutoff marks for shortlisting may vary from state to state, as vacancies are allocated accordingly. Important Requirements: Pregnancy: Female candidates who are found to be pregnant will be disqualified. Minimum Height Standards: Male candidates must have a minimum height of 157 cm, and female candidates must have a minimum height of 152 cm. Tattoos: Permanent tattoos are only allowed on the inner face of forearms and the reversed side of the palm/back of the hand. Tattoos on any other part of the body are not acceptable, and candidates with such tattoos will be barred from recruitment. Candidates must be in good physical and mental health, without any disease or disability that may hinder their performance of duties both on land and at sea, in both peaceful and war conditions.
